Lew’s KVD LFS Speed Spool Baitcasting Reels are a new series of low-profile casting reels developed in conjunction with bass fishing legend and 4-time Bassmaster Classic winner Kevin VanDam (KVD). They were designed to KVD’s exacting specifications and are jammed packed with features competitive bass anglers appreciate.

The KVD LFS Speed Spool is constructed with a 1-piece aluminum frame that houses a 34mm anodized aluminum spool, high strength solid brass gears, and P2 Super Pinion™ bearing supported pinion gear for rock-solid dependability. For long casting and smooth retrieve, the reel also has a 10 bearing system and a Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system that utilizes both an external click-dial for setting the magnetic brake and internal centrifugal disk-mounted brakes.

For angler convenience and comfortable operation, it also includes a bowed aluminum 95mm reel handle with EVA paddle knobs, audible click star drag, zirconia line guide, Patented retractable Speed Keeper® bait keeper.

Available in 6.2:1, 7.5:1, and 8.3:1 gear ratios in both Right and Left Hand retrieve.
