The Daiwa Tatula 300 Baitcasting Reels are a series of deep-spool, low-profile casting reels designed for throwing big bass baits like swimbaits, umbrella rigs (aka A-rigs), and oversized deep-diving crankbaits. Despite being a relatively compact reel overall, the 300 size spool has ample line capacity and can hold up to 175 yards of 50 pound braid, all while weighing just under 3/4 of a pound (11.5 ounces).

The inclusion of T-Wing System (TWS) levelwind technology in the Tatula 300 means making long, bombing casts is easier than ever before, all with a decreased potential for backlash. It does this by reducing the angle of the line coming off the spool and spool speed, providing efficient operation unlike anything on the market in this reel class.
